Good, but could be better

I just found the 9to5Mac app 😍 I have been a 9to5Mac reader for many years (love the happy hour podcast!), but Ive been getting tired of all the 9to5Mac post notifications going to my email... I got the app, and LOVE dark mode! I have also subscribed for no adds. The biggest issue I have with this app is that there is no background push notifications. I have it all turned on in settings, but I still have to manually refresh the app for new stories... I would give this app 5 stars if it supported push notifications, but as it is, I see the post in my email and jump over to the app to read the article. Great work Benjamin!

AWFUL! Now it's just a web app - no different than using safari. The previous app was way better. Off my iPhone now.

Seriously, a fee?

This new version is essentially just an app that opens up their website. The old version was a native app viewing experience, which was by far better. Apparently you have to pay a monthly fee for the old version! I understanding paying for an ad free version, but seriously, paying for the old version of the app isn't cool. Way to go 9to5Mac!

Used to be Great

The App was recently updated, and now they make you pay $1.99 a MONTH for what previously you had for FREE!! Not happy!
