Over the last several years, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) has risen to become the premier ethnic medical association in the United States representing well over 60,000 practicing physicians, residents, fellows and medical students. The mission of our organization is to serve as a forum to facilitate and enable Indian American physicians to excel in patient care, teaching and research, and to pursue their aspirations in professional and community affairs. In addition to the support of our 17 healthcare clinics in India and 25 clinics here at home in the USA, AAPI continues to be recognized as a strong voice in the healthcare legislation and policy arena. AAPI Journal: is published every quarter and is mailed out to over 15,000 active members. It is also available on the web for review.
