WNRP broadcasts a News/Talk radio format to the greater Pensacola, Florida, area.[3] The station features hourly news programing from Fox News Radio around the clock and has local news twice an hour on weekdays from 6a to 9p.

NewsRadio 1620 has LIVE local talent including Rob Williams (M-F 6a-9a), Wendi Summers (M-F 9a-11a) and Branden Rathert (M-F 4p-7p). The station features daily commentary from comedian, humorist, and political insider T. Bubba Bechtol in mornings and afternoons. Notable syndicated hosts include comedian Dennis Miller on mid-days (M-F 11a-1p), financial adviser Dave Ramsey on early afternoons (M-Sun 1p-4p) and Roger Hedgecock (M-F 7p-10p).

WYCT (98.7 FM) is a radio station known as "Cat Country 98.7." The main studio is located on Plantation Road in Pensacola, Florida, and caters to the Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Pace and Milton markets as well as Baldwin County, Alabama.

According to telephone-based Solutions Broadcast Research, CatCountry 98.7 has risen to deliver the largest Pensacola audience of adults aged 25 to 54. (Solutions Spring 2008C2)

CatCountry 98.7 (WYCT) won "Station of the Year" from the Academy of Country Music (ACM) for 2006 and 2008. "The CatPack with Brent & Dana" won ACM "Personalities of the Year" for 2008. Both awards were in the ACM Small Market division and were presented during the ACM Awards Show in Las Vegas on April 5th, 2009.

Owners Dave and Mary Hoxeng applied to the FCC in 1987 for a new Pensacola station at 98.7. After long delays in winning license in Washington, they moved to Pensacola in 2002 to construct the new 100,000-watt FM radio station from the ground up. The station was started on 40 acres of raw timberland where a new 942-foot tower in Baldwin County with associated “hurricane proof” blockhouse was built. Dave and wife Mary debuted the radio station as Christmas Radio 98.7 in November 2003, and switched to Cat Country 98.7 on December 26, 2003. According to monthly Solutions Broadcast Research, Cat Country 98.7 has risen to deliver the largest Pensacola audience of adults aged 25 to 54, which is the most valued demographic by advertisers.
