Ceramics Now is an independent art platform and magazine specialized in contemporary ceramics. Based in Cluj, with contributors from around the world, we are a small non-profit organization established to promote, advance and document contemporary ceramic art.

Founded by Vasi Hirdo in 2010, the online art platform offers a curated selection of art projects and publishes feature articles and in-depth interviews with world-renowned and emerging ceramic artists.

We publish Ceramics Now Magazine, a bi-annual journal that invites us to think about the various facets of contemporary ceramics and its creators. The journal is published independently twice a year, with 100+ pages perfect bound in full color and printed on quality paper with a matte cover. It is also available in digital format, to enjoy reading on your desktop, tablet, or phone. Our third issue is out in June 2015.
