Universal VIN Decoder Adds Sellers Features and Modern Decodes

Decode This! (http://www.decodethis.com) is a web site dedicated to providing information on Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN), a unique code assigned to every car that contains vital information about its origins. Decode This! will decode a VIN for classic as well as modern cars (1953 through 2008) for most brands, providing detailed information on the model, including engine type, options, standard equipment, and other vital pieces of information in order to aid the user in buying, selling, or simply identifying a vehicle.

Decode This! is the only VIN decoder in the world that decodes classic car VINs from a variety of manufacturers, and with its ability to also decode VINs from modern vehicles (1980s to current) it stands apart from the other online VIN Decoders. Currently 25,000 unique VINs have been decoded since the service was launched in October 2006.

The site offers other features such as a WAP version of the decoder and a Google Toolbar button that allows you to decode any VIN on the Internet by simply highlighting it and clicking one button.

Also with this new release we’re proud to announce the Personal Window Sticker service. Window Stickers are the primary way dealers convey information about a car to prospective buyers. They include the standard and optional equipment installed on a car, as well as important features like engine type, transmission, and of course the price. Now Decode This! gives the individual access to this powerful sales tool by generating a personalized Window Sticker (as a downloadable PDF to print). Email them to prospective buyers or print them out and display them in your car.
