ABOUT DIGITAL TOUR BUSBeginning as just an idea in January of 2009, the Founder of Digital Tour Bus, Joshua Weidling, started developing an idea he came up with while brainstorming at his part time job at Goodwill. Out of this brainstorming session came a simple idea to change the way people know and interact with their favorite bands and artists. The idea was to find a way to get these acts to agree to let him on their tour vehicle for an exclusive look around!Most concert goers only see the outside of the tour buses, vans, RVs, etc, of their favorite bands while waiting in line to enter a concert. At the time, the plan was to bring fans a bit closer to their favorite acts by letting them see how their live on the road in their “home away from home”. Four years later, our Bus Invaders series has been seen by hundreds of thousands of music lovers all over the world and has featured acts including: Neon Trees, Plain White T’s, Boys Like Girls, Machine Head, Bullet For My Valentine, Simple Plan, Fedde Le Grand, All Time Low, A Day To Remember, Asking Alexandria and hundreds of others.What started as a simple idea has been transformed into a website containing features and news from artists of every genre. The tagline that brings this experience together is “Bringing You On Tour”, because that is exactly why we’re here. We want to give you more access to the tour lives of your favorite musicians than anyone else and we do that through the features we work countless hours everyday to bring you, including: Bus Invaders, Tour Life, Tour Tips, Tour Reviews and Road Blogs.We hope you enjoy our site and decide to come along for the journey as we take you into the lives of your favorite touring musicians!
