Description:

The Star-Telegram eEdition lets you read the Star-Telegram on your mobile device just as it appears in print. You can flip through pages and skim the headlines of Tarrant County’s leading source for local news. The app allows you to easily enlarge type, jump from section to section, and share articles on Facebook with the tap of a finger. And if you missed the paper one day, don’t worry; you can download editions from the past 14 days.

Good when it doesn't crash

I enjoy reading the "paper" and this app provides a paper complete with turning pages. My only complaint is it frequently crashes closed after turning only a few pages. This has increased in frequency since OS7. Developers need to fix the bugs. A welcomed addition would be the ability to email articles. As it is now I have to exit the app and find the article on the e edition. Also frequently it will just load the last edition and not today's, even though I have an email saying the current edition is ready for reading. Updating today 12/29/16, this app is becoming more and more frustrating due to frequently not loading. Today's edition still won't load at 10:45 am. Emails to the contact address go unanswered. And I am paying 9.99/ month and getting worse delivery electronically. At least when I had home delivery the paper was delivered more reliably.

Sign in over and over again

App worked ok until latest update a couple of weeks ago. Now you have to sign in six times to get thru the newspaper. Now it won't let me sign in at all.

Bad Functionality

Can't sign in can't sign out. Can't move between issues. I have to uninstall the app to start over, knowing it will fail. I pay for this subscription...the least they can do is provide a simple easy way to access. Edit...where are you ST? Nothing to say?

Doesn't work with ios10

Never had a problem until I installed ios10. Can't go back to latest issues once you go back past those days.

Latest ios upgrade broke it

I used to be able to scroll back and forth through the back issues. Since the latest ios update, I can only scroll backward, not forward. And only once. Then it is stuck on that issue until the next day. NOT HAPPY.

Accounts Framework
The Accounts framework provides access to user accounts stored in the Accounts database. An account stores the login credentials of a particular service, such as Twitter, that can be used as authentication for the service. By implementing the Accounts framework into your app, you do not need to be responsible for storing account logins yourself. Instead, the user can grant access for your app to use their account login credentials, bypassing the need to type their username and password. If no account for a particular service exists in the user’s Accounts database, you can let them create and save an account from within your app.
Address Book
The Address Book framework provides access to a centralized contacts database, called the Address Book database, that stores a user’s contacts. Applications such as Mail and Messages use this database to present information about known and unknown persons.
