Gun Digest the Magazine
Gun Digest the MagazineIn late fall of 2004, a tabloid-style gun classifieds newspaper, titled Gun List, was revamped. It would feature the same extensive gun classifieds and auction listings, but the new periodical was beefed up with feature articles and columns on gunsmithing, reloading, long-range shooting, shotgunning, gun collecting and commentary – the same quality information found in the annual book. In 2006, Gun List underwent a name change to Gun Digest the Magazine; its editorial and classifieds format have remained intact ever since.
Published bi-weekly, Gun Digest the Magazine offers shooting enthusiasts the best and most current gun news, and firearms for sale. Plus, it features great articles from the best gun writers in the country. Columnists include Brian McCombie, Charlie Cutshaw, Dave Morelli, Dave Workman, Walt Hampton, Scott Bestul, Scott Freigh, Dan Shideler, Phillip Peterson, Kevin Muramatsu and Nick Niles.

GunDigest.com Online
In the Introduction to the Gun Digest 2010 book, Editor Dan Shideler writes, “Gun Digest remains what it has always been: the world’s leading firearms annual. Many of the pieces contained in these pages were not written by professional gun writers but by just plain folks. We have never met a gun owner who didn’t have something interesting to say…”
It’s that sentiment that underscores what GunDigest.com is all about – a vibrant community. While there, you’ll find feature articles from our book and magazine authors, and our editors. You’ll see video reviews of guns and new accessories for shooting. But much like those “just plain folks” who comprise the authorship of the world’s greatest gun book, what makes GunDigest.com the foremost online authority for guns is you – the interaction you bring to the forums and blogs. GunDigest.com is as much about the people who buy, sell, own, collect and shoot guns as the firearms themselves. And it all starts with you.
