    Originally from Schenectady, NY, I’ve spent my entire life in music and the arts. I see many similarities between style and music, and starting a personal style blog was a natural extension of my creative side as well as my desire to communicate with and inspire as many people as I possibly can. I have been extremely fortunate to enjoy a successful career as a musician—I play the saxophone. I’ve been reviewed as a soloist in publications such as The New York Times and the Washington Post, have played with many, many amazing groups and musicians, and even performed on an album that won a Grammy. Along the way, I also somehow found time to start and run a music series that went on to win a national award, was a Category 1 elite level bicycle racer, and a runner up in a national original cocktail recipe competition. Free time is honestly something I don’t have too much of, but since I make my living doing the things I love to do, I’m okay with that. I do love a good police procedural though.
