I was raised tha traditional way to cook and clean, but seeing my parents struggle made me want to live my life a different way. I married young at the age of 16 and had my first child at the age of 18. I dropped out of high school to support my family. Now being a divorced mother of two. I now teach my children that education is first and am proud to say they are both honor roll students and even I have gone back to school and will graduate in the spring of ’08. We as latinos have to work twice as hard than the averge American to make it and it’s well worth it. I own multiple small businesses and plan to retire at the age of forty-five; that is my goal. Set a goal and stick to it. It worked for me and it will work for you. I will proceed with my education and make my businesses grow. Hard work pays off!!!!!!!!!!!!!
