Originally founded in 2006 as WSN.com in Shanghai, the company built the largest football content website in China at the time. In 2010, KAX Media shifted its focus away from China and onto regulated European gaming markets with the launch of various localized gaming portals and the acquisition of Gambling.com in April 2011. In February of 2013 WSN.com was acquired and KAX no longer has any interests in Asia or the sports betting industry. Also in February of 2013, KAX won the "Best Affiliate Newcomer" award for Gambling.com at the iGB Affiliate Awards.
