The idea for LaundroMatinee.com came about some time after My Old Kentucky Blog started inviting bands in to record small radio sessions at Pendleton Heights High School in the small, quiet town of Pendleton, Indiana. Some time in late 2006, My Old Kentucky Blog.com founder, Craig "Dodge" Lile, befriended then high school radio station general manager and teacher Jeff DuPont. The two shared an equally passionate love of independent music as well as an overwhelming compulsion to share it with others. Jeff suggested that Dodge use his connection to SIRIUS Satellite Radio to influence a band to come to the station some time. The two hoped to record a couple songs to play on the radio station and get the kids taking Jeff's radio class excited about travelling independent bands. Catfish Haven was the first band to come through, some time in late December 2006. The fire was lit.LaundroMatinee.com offers multiple banner advertising options.
