The Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau builds the local economy and the community's positive image through tourism and convention development, major events and destination marketing. We are the official marketing and tourism organization for Memphis and Shelby County.

The tourism industry in Memphis currently supports over 35,000 tourism-related jobs ($539.5 million in payroll) and has an estimated tourism revenue of $3 billion. In 2014, $139.6 million was generated in local and state taxes from tourism in Memphis.
