I believe in getting up everyday and creating a beautiful life. From what I choose to wear, to eat, put in my home and ways I spend my time. I’m not aiming for perfection. I’m aiming for a life I can look back on and smile at. I hope you find some great ideas for your wardrobe, your home and your life. Now for a little background on me: My husband used to be in the Air Force. We moved about 5 times in 7 years and have lived in amazing places such as Anchorage, AK and Monterey, CA. After 9 years, we were ready to move on to another adventure. So, we packed up our house, kids and pet and moved to Denver, CO. We had no jobs, a house still in Georgia and no real solid plans. Yes, some people DID think we were nuts. Guess what? We are! :D [Update: We moved to Austin, TX in March 2011 to be near family. And here we go on yet another adventure!] My Blogging Experience Here we are now….I’ve been a full-time blogger for 6 years. I have mainly worked in the Entertainment industry and have had the pleasure of attending fun events and interviewing celebrities. I [used to] run a tween/teen site, www.modoration.com. It is taking off and I am having fun! I also review toys at www.toyxplosion.com and have had the pleasure of working with some well-known toy companies. (I sold ToyXplosion in March of 2013.) I recently joined the content team for BlogWorld & New Media Expo. I cover news in the industry, as well as attend the BlogWorld events, so if you are attending as well, please let me know so we can meet “in-real-life”! [Update: I stepped down from the BlogWorld position.] Blogging is my passion. It’s what I was designed and wired for. I can’t imagine doing anything else (except maybe blogging from a chair on the beach!). Update: My husband and I launched a skin care business called Morning Light Beauty in January 2014. We are so excited about this new adventure! I have also: Been skydiving Lived and traveled in Europe Owned my own Professional Organizing Business Owned a marketing business Found my birth mom (I’ll tell you that story some day!) Now to add to this list and live life fabulously!
