Mountainside Fitness Centers is the largest locally owned health club chain in Arizona. With ten fitness centers, 45,000 active members and 900 employees. In November of 2005, Mountainside Fitness Centers was voted one of ten (10) “hottest growing” companies in Arizona by Biz AZ magazine when 5 clubs were added to the chain. Now in 2013 that trend continues as MSF has announced three new locations coming soon. Mountainside Fitness is the “Official” Fitness Center of the Arizona Diamondbacks. He’s also been a featured guest on The Pat McMahan Show, Phoenix Suns Pregame, Good Morning AZ, and at one time co-hosted the mid day all fitness request hour for local KZZP FM radio. Currently Mr. Hatten is a motivational speaker to many business organizations, colleges, high schools and church organizations. His topics range from entrepreneurship, economics, and desire to overcome. Born in Austin, Minnesota, he has lived in Arizona for all but 6 months of his life. He is currently married, has one son and a step son. Favorite charitable organizations include: Child Crisis Center, American Cancer Society and The Make-a-Wish Foundation.
