Esta aplicação determina a partir de uma data o dia da semana. Lógico que isto só é válido para os anos posteriores a 1582 ano da imposição do calendário gregoriano. A bula papal "Inter Gravissimas" retirou 10 dias ao calendário que então se vivia. As pessoas deitaram-se numa quinta feira dia 4 de Outubro e acordaram numa sexta feira 15 de Outubro de 1582. A aplicação determina também se o ano da data é ou não bissexto e a data em que recai nesse ano o Domingo de Páscoa. Este último aspecto é por vezes importante já que as agências de viagens usam frequentemente essa referência na preparação dos seus circuitos e por vezes encontramos todo o comercio encerrado no destino. Para este efeito usei o algoritmo e Meeus/Jones/Butcher.
