Thank you so much for visiting us at the Hill Hangout. I’m Ashley, the chief cook and bottle washer around here. I’m married to Jonathan, a great guy who loves the Lord, loves his family, and pretty much lays down his life for us daily. Yep, he’s a keeper. Together we have two little girls, Mary Anneliese (12) and Patterson (6). They are full of life and giggles and are the heartbeat of our home. We love to cook good food (check out our Recipe Index) and consider ourselves amateur foodies. We try to surround ourselves with beautiful things, even though most of those things are created on a shoestring budget. We love community, music, and deep discussions on scripture. When we travel, we dig deep into local culture and enjoy experiencing new things. We believe in connecting with other people, even when relationships require real work. We are a homeschooling family who try to daily live out the call of Christ to take up our cross and follow Him. We definitely aren’t perfect (not even close!), but we are redeemed.
