    Publisher: The Rebel Sweetheart.
  • Key Differentiator
From corporate slave to domesticated diva. Czjai Reyes-Ocampo has always dreamed of having a bestseller, a Nobel Peace Prize, and a cafe' / bookstore to her name. She attributes her love for prose, poetry, and the tri-media to an ancient copy of The Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe, which has been in her possession since she was nine years old. She graduated with a BS Development Communication degree from the University of the Philippines Los Banos in 2002. A year later, she landed a job at a telecommunications company. She started her first blog in 2004, then took a break from blogging in early 2009. Finally ending the long hiatus in December 2011, she created The Rebel Sweetheart for her blogging comeback. Now a wife and a mother, the once-prodigal blogger now updates her blog as regularly as possible, irregardless of the horrendous eyebags and ghastly circles beneath her eyes. In between blogging, household chores, and mommy duties, she still takes time to experiment with makeup and try all sorts of beauty products, watch UFC bouts (she's a huge fan of Georges St. Pierre, Chael Sonnen, and Jimmy Quinlan) and ogle and spazz over her favorite Korean actors and idol stars - some of which include Super Junior, Big Bang, SHINee, Lee Joongi, Jin Yi Han, and Park Yoochun. Her love for Korean dramas, Korean music, Korean food, Korean cosmetics, and basically anything that has to do with Korea has led her to believe that she must have lived in Joseon in her past life. Although born, raised, and currently residing in the Philippines, she dreams of visiting Korea in the near future to see the maehwas in full bloom, and the majesty of Jeju Island. At present, she spreads the love for Kpop and the Hallyu wave as an Associate Writer for Korea.com. Czjai goes by the moniker Rebel Sweetheart, because of the paradoxical ring to it. And because she loves The Wallflowers.
