In your Traffic Planet banner advertising campaign, we recommend the following steps to get the most for your advertising 'buck': 1. Provide us with a different animated gif banner each month. We see the decay in banner clickthroughs stats (you will too in your Traffic Planet Banner Admin Area) and if you don't change your banner each month, clickthroughs will decline. It takes us just a few seconds to upload your new banner and send it live. There is no charge at all for changing your banners whenever you wish. 2. Only use animated banners. On the whole, looking at our advertiser stats, animated banners considerably outperform static ones. Plus, make sure that you use animated gifs for Traffic Planet. Flash ads are problematic. 3. Use colors with a strong contrast to those on Traffic Planet. We have a predominantly blue theme so banners that also use blues or whites will probably be less effective. 4. Monitor your stats. Soft generic branding does poorly on CTR but those with a specific, high-impact offer typically do much better.
