About Me Thanks for visiting Your PF Pro! If you’re new here check out my Resources page to get started. Why Did I Start This Site? I started my blog in January of 2012 because I wanted to create a place where anybody could come and get free personal financial advice, ask questions and just learn about personal finance. It’s something that affects everybody’s lives every single day yet most of us would rather spend time comparing prices on a television than looking at our finances. I think it’s crazy that so many smart and educated people graduate college without basic knowledge in personal finance. My goal is to engage even the most passive investor and show them that with just a few simple steps, you can greatly increase your chances for future financial success. My Experience I’ve always been interested in finance, and through years of research and first hand experience, I hope to bring some sanity to anyone looking for financial advice. I am by no means an expert, but I believe that we can all comfortably control our own financial destiny with a little bit of work. In the past 10 years, I’ve had all sorts of different jobs, hobbies and interests. But personal finance is the one thing that has remained constant and always kept my interest. I’ve been investing in stocks since I was 14, and bought my first real estate property when I was 23. In that time, I’ve made quite a few mistakes, but I’ve always learned from them. Personal finance is a big part of my life but I believe everyone demands a work-life balance. Each individual is unique and a key to personal financial happiness is finding a balance between saving, working and spending on the things you enjoy.
