Nearly zero return

If you want a highly mismanaged stock portfolio that gains nearly nothing, go for this app. I did this app to see if it was worth it. I also started a stock portfolio at the same time with the same amount ($100). Earned $20 on this app and $3000 on the stock portfolio. Hopefully this saves you the headache…

Every time I look at my acorns account I find money that I didn’t even know I had. It’s so nice to just have it taken out of the transactions and then see what you’ve saved.

Broken security feature

Been using this product for many years. But in the last couple of week, the faceID does stopped working and I had to log in every time. Before, if FaceID failed, it would go to the PIN screen. That have not been happening since. It takes me to the login screen. Then there is the thing with the 2fa process. I used to have my phone number as the primary 2fa. Now it goes to my email. I’m logging in from a iPhone and the 2fa automatically gets filled when the text message comes. Now I have to close the app, open the email, copy the 6 digit code then go back to the screen to paste it. Wth!?! Like each couple of weeks, the update goes backwards.

Good way to have no idea what your money is doing

Terrible user interface that doesn’t really show what your money is doing or what it’s going towards. No good tracking method. Great for set and forget but it’s not worth turning 40 and finding out they’ve just been wasting your money on themselves

Not a good app. They do not honor rewards like they say they do. They are not honest people. Do not recommend! I also reached out to customer support and they are worthless and do not help! Don’t use this app THEY LIE ABOUT REWARDS! Don’t fall for the multiple referrals for 1,000
