Aisha Steel Mills Limited (ASML) is the largest Cold Roll Steel Complex in Pakistan. ASML (www.aishasteel.com) declared started its trial run in July 2012 and declared Commercial Operations from 1st October 2012. ASML is located in the downstream Industrial Estate of Pakistan Steel, Bin Qasim, Karachi, Pakistan ASML is a joint venture between renowned Pakistani and Japanese conglomerates namely, Arif Habib Group (www.arifhabibcorp.com), Metal One Corporation of Japan (www.mtlo.co.jp/us/index.html) subsidiary of Misubishi Corporation of Japan (www.mitsubishicorp.com) and Universal Metal Corporation Japan (www.universalmetal.jp). ASML has set-up Pakistan's largest and most modern CRC Complex with latest and brandnew Japanese machinery and technology while band new annealing furnaces have been procured from Ebner of Austria. Furthermore, ASML is already embarked upon a journey of value-addition and will be commissioning Pakistan's Electrolytic Cleaning Line (ECL) in 2Q 2013. ASML is based on import substitution model and will help in self reliance of Pakistan in downstream engineering, auto & allied, white goods & allied, and packing industry. ASML is able to offer the entire range of thicknesses along with other custom made mechanical properties in the CRC produced.
