Connected Cameras are becoming increasingly popular as a means to record day-to-day footage, sensitive security videos, and incidents on the road -- in a compact package with minimal controls and typically no LCD display. The Remote Video app provides the main user interfaces to these Connected Cameras. It will allow the user to control the Connected Camera, modify settings, view the output in live preview mode, play and analyze previously recorded footage, and upload/share footage onto the cloud.

Remote Video Features

1. Remote viewing in real-time – The user can watch live preview on their mobile phone when the camera is within Wi-Fi Range of the Connected Camera.

2. Playback recorded videos from the Connected Camera – The mobile phone provides a listing and playback option for previously recorded videos stored on the Connected Camera.

3. Saving previously recorded videos from the Connected Camera to the mobile phone.

4. Sharing recorded videos to social media eg. Facebook, Youtube, etc.

5. Remotely controlling the Connected Camera – The phone provides camera controls to start and stop recording, and to taking a photo.

6. Configuring the Connected Camera – Provides the most convenient real-time interface to configure the Connected Camera while being physically present within Wi-Fi range.
