The mission of the Amputee Coalition is to reach out to and empower people affected by limb loss to achieve their full potential through education, support and advocacy, and to promote limb loss prevention. Through unique, far-reaching programs and services we work to ensure that no one faces the challenges of limb loss or limb difference alone. The National Limb Loss Resource Center, our peer visitor training, a network of support groups, webinars, and events like the Paddy Rossbach Youth Camp, the National Conference and Limb Loss Education Days are just some of the programs that help provide education and support. A collection of print and online materials serve as additional resources, and can be found at amputee-coalition.org or requested by calling 888.267.5669. ・Get a personalized match with a Certified Peer Visitor and access immediate support via call or text.
・Request a peer visit from an Amputee Coalition Certified Peer Visitor.
・Meet with your Certified Peer Visitor in the app by video or text message. All conversations are 100% private and secure and meet HIPAA standards.
・Contact the Amputee Coalition Peer Support Staff and National Limb Loss Resource Center Specialist through in-app messaging.
・Easy access to Amputee Coalition resources and educational materials.
