Anki's first product, Anki DRIVE, premiered at AppleÍs WWDC 2013 as a unique battle-racing experience that blends the world of robotics, toys and video games, an introduced a whole new level of physical play. In 2015, Anki took the original concept of DRIVE and improved on it in every single way to launch Anki OVERDRIVE. The new system allows players to control robotic Supercars using their mobile devices and race against friends, family or AI-powered commanders. Players are also able to expand their battlefield by adding expansion pieces that snap together quickly via magnets.
In Oct. 2016, Anki announced its second groundbreaking product, Cozmo. Powered by advanced robotics, AI and computer vision, Cozmo is one of the most sophisticated consumer robots available today. Smarts aside, CozmoÍs heart and soul rests in his emotion engine, which evolves as you develop a bond.
Both Anki OVERDRIVE and Cozmo have received an overwhelmingly positive response from consumers. According to The NPD Group, the products were two of the top four best-selling premium toys ($75+) for the past holiday season (Oct. leading up to Christmas).
