Arrivalist is for travelers who don't want to miss the hot spots --getting the most out of their visit in any destination. The App allows users to create Lists of the "must see" attractions in a destination in advance of their arrival. When the user approaches an attraction, hotel or restaurant on the user's list, the App issues an alert, welcoming the user to his or her selected spot and providing some background on his or her location. Arrivalist currently covers 38 markets in the United States and is adding more destinations and content all the time. The company partners with tourism boards to provide relevant, geo-graphically targeted information to travelers in exchange for monitoring how many users arrive in destinations after being exposed to ads for that place.

Exactly what I need when I'm there

This app allows me to browse the hotspots before I arrive and receive reminders once I am at my destination so I don't miss the things I want to see. Its the way I use a guidebook only I much more interactive. It's nicely designed and intuitive to use too.
