Description:

Monitor your health whether you are trying to concieve, pregnant or just getting to know your body. While you’re sleeping, the Ava bracelet tracks key health parameters associated with varying levels of progesterone and estradiol throughout the menstrual cycle.
The Ava bracelet is a completely unprecedented method of tracking a woman’s cycle and health.

** Winner of the Women's Health Femtech Award 2018
** #1 Swiss Startup Award 2018
** Featured on Forbes, New York Times, The Daily Telegraph, CNN and more.

HOW AVA WORKS:
While you’re sleeping, Ava’s sensors collect data on key physiological parameters. The parameters are fed into our algorithm in order to determine your fertile window.
Other methods of fertility tracking rely on only a single parameter, and thus cannot provide a complete picture of your fertility in real time. Ava detects the very first signs that the fertile window is beginning, and confirms when it ends. Ava, in addition keeps tracking your data once you are pregnant and accompanies you on your journey.

WITH AVA YOU CAN:
+ See 5.3 fertile days per cycle in real time.
+ Track your temperature, resting pulse rate, sleep quality and quantity and physiological stress levels.
+ Gain insights about your menstrual cycle and discover patterns in your health over time with charts, graphs, and trend analysis.
+ Learn about changes in your body during pregnancy.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND AVA:
+ Ava has been shown to detect an average of 5.3 fertile days per cycle at 89% accuracy.
+ Ava was clinically tested in a year-long study at the University Hospital of Zurich under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Brigitte Leeners, the leading expert on the mathematical modeling of menstrual cycles.
+ Ava is an FDA registered device and CE certified.

AVA BRACELET & AVA APP:
The Ava Bracelet is made with the most advanced Swiss sensor technology. It provides health insight that’s not available with any other wearable health tracker and identifies more fertile days per cycle than any other method. The app must be used with the Ava bracelet. It's just a "black box"

The company claims this bracelet I wear every night is making millions of calculations and running the data through fancy algorithms to figure out my ovulation. I have no idea if that is really true. The app is a complete black box. It tells me a couple metrics about my sleep, temp, heart rate, etc. but these are not displayed in any way I can easily compare over time (have to scroll through each day individually). No graph or other way to compare day to day or cycle to cycle. No information on what exactly it's calculating or how this whole thing works. Just an overly simplified view at a couple stats which may or may not be helping to pinpoint my fertile periods. Hoped for a lot, lot more from this given the scientific background, the wait time, and the price.

Needs some work

There is no way to change period date or how long it lasts

It's ok - not worth the $$

I would like to see the data collected in a chart for comparison. It currently list data day by day so you must scroll thru each day to view the data. I wish the dates were displayed in a month instead of week by week. The bracelet is easily detachable so sometimes the bracelet detaches from your wrist in the middle of the night. I wish the bracelet was more secure. I was under the impression the bracelet would actually detect when your body ovulates, however, it does not. I don't think this bracelet is any different than period tracker app...its just more expensive and detects your vitals signs.

Easier than peeing on sticks!!!

I love wearing the bracelet at night-although I didn't have the bracelet snapped correctly the first couple nights and contacted Ava and they explained the correct way to wear it! The customer service is amazing and quick to respond to my messages and very friendly! I look forward to wearing the bracelet in hopes for a miracle!

Clear accurate fertility information

The bracelet and app are a reliable source for tracking your fertility, especially if you have an irregular cycle.

I almost love it

This device is pretty amazing but there are definitely some things I don't love. First, there aren't clear instructions on the app or the packaging; the first night I thought I was good to go and it didn't record anything. I learned the green light needs to be the side touching your skin. Second, I'm pregnant but there isn't a way to note that in the app. The site said its good for tracking vitals when you're pregnant but it keeps asking me to track my period :) lastly, it would be nice if it put everything in a chart to compare but it just has it day to day. I'm not sure I'll keep it just yet.
Core Telephony Framework
Use the Core Telephony framework to obtain information about a user’s home cellular service provider—that is, the provider with whom the user has an account. Carriers can use this information to write applications that provide services only for their own subscribers. You can also use this framework to obtain information about current cellular calls.

GTMSessionFetcher
GTMSessionFetcher makes it easy for Cocoa applications to perform http operations. The fetcher is implemented as a wrapper on NSURLSession, so its behavior is asynchronous and uses operating-system settings on iOS and Mac OS X.
Protobuf
Protocol Buffers (a.k.a., protobuf) are Google's language-neutral, platform-neutral, extensible mechanism for serializing structured data.
Image IO Framework
The Image I/O programming interface framework allows applications to read and write most image file formats. This framework offers high efficiency, color management, and access to image metadata.

Metal
Render advanced 3D graphics and perform data-parallel computations. Get fine-grained access to the GPU while minimizing CPU overhead. The Metal Framework provides extremely low-overhead access to the GPU, enabling incredibly high performance for your sophisticated graphics rendering and computational tasks. Metal eliminates many performance bottlenecks—such as costly state validation—that are found in traditional graphics APIs. Metal moves all expensive state translation and compilation operations out of the critical path of your most performance sensitive rendering code. It provides precompiled shaders, state objects, and explicit command scheduling to ensure that your application achieves the highest possible performance and efficiency. Graphics, compute, and blit commands can be used together seamlessly and efficiently. Metal is specifically designed to exploit modern architectural considerations, such as multiprocessing and shared memory, to make it easy to parallelize the creation of GPU commands.
