Based in Palo Alto, CA, Bon App_tit has more than 1,000 caf_s in 33 states, including ones for Google, Oracle, Johns Hopkins University, Emory University, and the Getty Center, as well as public restaurants such as The Commissary, STEM Kitchen & Garden, and Public House in San Francisco. Bon App_tit chefs cook from scratch, including their sauces, stocks, and soups. A pioneer in environmentally sound sourcing policies, Bon App_tit has developed programs addressing local purchasing, the overuse of antibiotics, sustainable seafood, the food and climate change connection, humanely raised meat and eggs, and farmworker welfare.
