In late 2015, Book of the Month, a powerful brand with 90 years of history, was relaunched as a monthly subscription e-commerce service that provides avid readers with a with fun, convenient, and affordable way to discover and buy new books each month. We have been growing rapidly since the relaunch. We work hard to bring our members the gems: well-written, immersive stories that transport you, give you thrills, and tug at your heartstrings. The books that are truly worth reading.
Our team of over 40 editors, developers, marketers, product managers, and operators are all book-lovers. We work together from our office in New York City. We pride ourselves on working hard to bring our members an exceptional BOTM experience. And as always, we're hiring!

Not quite what I signed up for..
When I first signed up for this, I thought there were 5 Featured Books for the month. I wasn’t aware that in order to receive any books, you had to select one of the 5 “Book of the Month” options. That was quite a disappointment.

Best monthly club ever
I’ve been able to bet so many new books, authors, stories, and all on my time. The best part is, I can skip, or build up credits if I can’t read quick enough. I love this club and all the goodies I’ve found along the way. And all for under the cost of books at box stores.

American Dirt
The most amazing, sad, terrifying book I have read in awhile. It affected me in such a profound way and made me determined to appreciate my life and the freedoms I have. We in the United States unfortunately live a very entitled existence and I’m afraid that will be coming to an end someday soon. I hope we can change things before we too find ourselves in a very violent society. More violent than what we have now, that is. I recommend this book to everyone who cares about equality and the possibilities of happiness through immigration.We are all immigrants after all unless we’re Native Americans!
Core Foundation Framework
Core Foundation is a framework that provides fundamental software services useful to application services, application environments, and to applications themselves. Core Foundation also provides abstractions for common data types, facilitates internationalization with Unicode string storage, and offers a suite of utilities such as plug-in support, XML property lists, URL resource access, and preferences.
Core Graphics
The Core Graphics framework is based on the Quartz advanced drawing engine. It provides low-level, lightweight 2D rendering with unmatched output fidelity. You use this framework to handle path-based drawing, transformations, color management, offscreen rendering, patterns, gradients and shadings, image data management, image creation, and image masking, as well as PDF document creation, display, and parsing.
Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Launch Services
macOS Launch Services is an API that enables a running app to open other apps or their document files, similar to the Finder or the Dock.Launch Services eliminates apps having to query the Finder to open an app, document, or URL for them. The macOS Finder itself uses Launch Services to perform such tasks. Because the Finder performs no additional processing beyond calling Launch Services, any client using Launch Services for these purposes behaves identically to the Finder.

Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.
Quartz Core Framework
