Founded in 1997, Bottom Line is a nationally-recognized, steadily growing non-profit organization with a mission to help low-income and first-generation students get in to college, graduate from college and go far in life. We achieve this mission by providing one-on-one guidance during the college application process and throughout college. Currently, we support over 7,000 students in Massachusetts, New York City, and Chicago with an operating budget of $14M.
In our College Access Program, 98% of Bottom Line high school seniors enroll in college. In our College Success Program, Success and Career Counselors provide on-campus mentoring in four focus areas: Degree, Employability, Financial Aid, and Life Skills. Our historical six-year graduation rate is 79.5%.
