At its core, Catalyst is a Community of Change Makers. Conceived as a next-generation leaders conference in 1999 by Andy Stanley, Reggie Joiner, John Maxwell, Lanny Donoho, and several young leaders, Catalyst was created to meet the felt-need that existed within the church leader space; a leadership event that focused on a new generation of church leaders. Today, Catalyst exists to embolden leaders from all over the world. As the need for gathering Leaders Who Love the Church has increased, Catalyst has taken many forms to unify, equip, and challenge leaders from varying streams, traditions, and generations of the Church. Through its live events, weekly podcast, and a brand new community-building app, Catalyst leans into leaders who are seeking to create courageous change in the world„ Gospel-centered, deep-rooted change.
