Chariot's mission is to become the world's first profitable mass transit service by crowdsourcing a network of commuter shuttle routes that provides a fast, reliable and affordable service using new Ford Transit 15-passenger vans. When a critical mass of future riders 'vote' for a particular route, Chariot launches its service, typically between popular residential and work areas „ as well as transit hubs like commuter rail stations, ferry terminals and bus depots „ providing commutes in half the time as public transit and a fraction the cost of ridesharing. Since launching in April 2014, Chariot has introduced over 30 routes connecting thousands of commuters to destinations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Chariot continues to meet the changing needs of commuters by crowdsourcing future routes from riders, once we meet critical mass we have the ability to launch a new route within days. Providing a premium and comfortable rider experience is our top priority at Chariot. Chariot for Commuters:
The easy way to get to and from the office: Simply open the app, enter your starting and ending points, and find the nearest Chariot route sorted by least amount of walking. Track your ride as it arrives and enjoy free amenities like Wi-Fi and water, available on most Chariots.

Chariot for Enterprise :
Create a private Chariot route to offer stress-free rides to employees, residents, or customers. If your employer has a Chariot Enterprise Route, sign up and verify your work email to automatically display your company's private routes.

Charter:

ETA is horribly HORRIBLY wrong

The shuttles will give an ETA range and they are ALWAYS wrong. The app will remain on a "3 min ETA" for 10 minutes. Expect long wait times and rude drivers.

Can drivers be any more reckless?

It used to be a good service - drivers were friendly and you felt safe taking Chariot. Well, not any more. You often find drivers texting or checking messages, and the way they drive is not any better than taxi or bus drivers. I feel super unsafe as a passenger by how many drivers drive, and when I see a Chariot on the road I try to stay away from it.

Great service but unreliable

I've been taking Chariot for a few months and have become increasingly frustrated with their inability to provide reliable service. Some days I have no trouble booking a trip to work, but at least once a week there are no vans available for 20+ minutes. They are also consistently off in their estimates for how far away their vans are. If they can ever fix their reliability problem, they'll be a great service but so far they've only gotten worse

Too unreliable for commuting

The Chariot service is too unreliable for commuting use in Austin. The app suffers from reliability problems for both the riders and drivers. I've had a confirmed seat on a Chariot and been passed at the stop by unaware drivers. You're better off with other options.

Frustrated with the quality of the app

Two stars for having a physical service backed by competent drivers. Minus 3 because of the app, which is barely non functional. I commute from the east bay, and use the chariot from the Mac Arthur station, which is one of their stops. When I type in Mac Arthur, and I shouldn't have to type it in, there should be a list of selected stops, I get a bunch if possible Mac Arthurs. It should recognize that I want to get on at the only Mac Arthur stop they make. On top of that, when I do select the right pickup and destination addresses, it gives me an error message, "we're currently in service, and chariots are on the way, please check the app and try again momentarily". The message is unhelpful, because I am trying to schedule during their morning commute.

Have to repeatedly log in before using

As of the last week I've had to log in every time before requesting a ride, and 50% of the time when exiting to the home screen and back after already requesting.

Core Location Framework

You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
MobileCoreServices
Use uniform type identifier (UTI) information to create and manipulate data that can be exchanged between your app and other apps and services using MobileCoreServices.
Quartz Core Framework
Allow users to browse, edit, and save images, using slideshows and Core Image filters.The Quartz Composer API supports processing and rendering graphical data and allows developers to create custom patches for the Quartz Composer developer tool.
