Clear Books is fast, reliable and secure online accounting software making your bookkeeping a quick and easy task.

Now you can access Clear Books on the go using our mobile app - it’s like having an office in your pocket.

Create bills on the bus, customers in the cafe or sales invoices in Spain (we’re not saying you’ll want to - but you can!) If you lose your internet connection halfway through it’s not a problem! We’ll let you save any data you’ve created remotely to your device and sync it with us when you’re back online. We’ll even let you continue working on your accounts until then!

Totally useless/pointless

As everyone rightly points out, this app is rubbish. If you use an iPad, the website works just fine, rendering this app obsolete anyway! However, for phone use - a smart, quick and easy stripped down version for the regular things like invoicing, expenses etc would be fantastic for on-the-go accounting. This app does not fulfil this at all. Guys, you should really start again from scratch, or ditch the app altogether and take it out of the App Store - leaving it here is actually generating unnecessary bad feeling from your otherwise happy customers.

Final nail! Moving to Xero

Been with Clearbooks since its early days. 6yrs!! It was our 1st venture into cloud accounting and although ridiculously for of bugs, it was admittedly much better than our previous system, and it was cheap so we didn't mind. Watched things develop. Waited ages for an app to be built, and they release this. They also jacked the pricing up so its time to go. Having spent some time looking at the alternatives I realise how outdated they now look/feel. They should of listened to the early feedback and pivoted before it was too late. We have 4 businesses and are migrating all of them over to a more refined product

Hard to refresh

This should auto refresh but doesn't and when you do a manual refresh it still doesn't do it all the time or refreshes some info but not all. Very flakey app, needs a load more work.

Disappointing

Clear Books looks ideal for me but I could not use this app. I can only assume it was a rushed release and will be improved. This should be a priority! I wish I could give this 0 stars, 1 seems generous.
