Synopsis:
Have you ever faked a restroom trip to check your email? Slept with your laptop? Or become so overwhelmed that you just unplugged from it all? In this funny, eye-opening, and inspiring film, Director Tiffany Shlain takes audiences on an exhilarating rollercoaster ride to discover what it means to be connected in the 21st century. Equal parts documentary and memoir, the film unfolds during a year in which technology and science become a matter of life and death for the director. Using a brilliant mix of animation, archival footage, and home movies, Shlain reveals the surprising ties that link us not only to the people we love but also to the world at large.
Connected has inspired thousands of people to reevaluate the surprising ties that link us all to the ones we love and to the world at large. This groundbreaking film has been featured at hundreds of organizations, schools, corporations and conferences as an entertaining cause-related catalyst for conversation about what it means to be connected in the 21st Century.

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Facebook
The iOS SDK provides Facebook Platform support for iOS apps.
Google APIs
Written by Google, this library is a flexible and efficient Objective-C framework for accessing JSON APIs. This is the recommended library for accessing JSON-based Google APIs for iOS and Mac OS X applications. The library is compatible with applications built for iOS 3 and later, and Mac OS X 10.5 and later. Google APIs with generated interfaces include AdSense Analytics Blogger Books Calendar Civic Info Cloud Save (AppState) Cloud SQL Cloud Storage Compute Engine DoubleClick Bid Manager Drive Mirror for Google Glass Groups Settings Latitude (deprecated) Orkut Plus Plus Domains Shopping (deprecated) Spectrum Database Tasks URL Shortener YouTube YouTube Analytics
Google Data APIs (gdata)
The Google data APIs provide a simple protocol for reading and writing data on the web. Many Google services provide a Google data API. This library is for Google XML APIs. For JSON APIs, use the Google APIs Client Library for Objective-C. Each of the following Google services provides a Google Data API supported by this library: Contacts Picasa Web Albums Spreadsheets Webmaster Tools
GTM HTTP Fetcher
Google Toolbox for Mac - HTTP Fetcher
GTMSessionFetcher
GTMSessionFetcher makes it easy for Cocoa applications to perform http operations. The fetcher is implemented as a wrapper on NSURLSession, so its behavior is asynchronous and uses operating-system settings on iOS and Mac OS X.
Google GTL Youtube
Auto-generated Google GTL library for accessing YouTube's new JSON API.
MessageUI
The Message UI framework provides specialized view controllers for presenting standard composition interfaces for email and SMS (Short Messaging Service) text messages. Use these interfaces to add message delivery capabilities without requiring the user to leave your app.
SBJson for Objective-C
Chunk-based JSON parser for Objective-C.
StoreKit
StoreKit enables users to embed a store in their app. It also process financial transactions associated with the purchase of content and services.
TouchXML
TouchXML is a lightweight replacement for Cocoa's NSXML* cluster of classes.
UIKit
The UIKit framework (UIKit.framework) provides the crucial infrastructure needed to construct and manage iOS apps. This framework provides the window and view architecture needed to manage an app’s user interface, the event handling infrastructure needed to respond to user input, and the app model needed to drive the main run loop and interact with the system.
