Explore the Tread Wisely mobile app to find useful tire and vehicle safety features and entertainment featuring a wise-cracking, illustrated character, who is the “spokestire” of the Tread Wisely program. The Tread Wisely app includes cool features like:

• “I GOT THERE” TEXTS: We want to set you up for safe travels. This innovative feature allows you to add preset text messages that are quick and easy to send to your parents, friends and others when you arrive at your destination, letting them know you “got there” safely. When it’s this easy to let them know you arrived, you’ve got no excuse.

• SAFETY CHECKS AND REMINDERS: Several useful safety checks and reminders can be set up and performed within the Tread Wisely app including three related to tire safety: proper tire inflation pressure, tread depth and the overall condition of your tires. For example, for proper inflation, you will be instructed where to find the recommended tire pressure for your vehicle through a video tutorial featuring race car driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. Once you know the recommended inflation pressure, you will be instructed how to actually measure your own tire pressure and enter it into the app for all four tires. If the actual pressure matches the recommended pressure, the app informs you that all is well. If not, the app instructs you to add or reduce air in your tires to align with the recommended pressure. In both cases, you are then able to set a reminder to check your tire pressure again in 30 days, which will come automatically through the app. Regular safety checks are how we roll!

• QUIZZES, POINTS AND PRIZES: As a user of the Tread Wisely app, you will earn points as you finish various tasks, including successfully completing quizzes based on tire and vehicle safety topics. If you are wheel-y impressive with your road safety knowledge, you will progress through different ranks, which put you into contention to earn various prizes such as gift cards that can be redeemed for gasoline, favorite foods or other items. Certain actions will also earn special badges. For example, if you share the app with your friends, family and others, you will get badges to collect. If you have a drive to win, this app is for you!
