I'm unsure which equianalgesic opioid conversion information you are using but this is NOT the commonplace conversion ratios. Please have a DIFFERENT third party affiliate reverify your dosing.

At a time when we need to reduce narcotic over-prescribing, this app doses heavy. Not useful for my staff and doesn't save me time.

The app shows that 1mg of hydrocodone is equivalent to 2mg of morphine. Which based on my literature search is a 1:1 ratio or even 1.5:1.

Useless. Basically a big advertisement. Id be embarrassed to use it. Deleted it after 10 minutes of use. Unreferenced. Clunky. Gaudy. Terrible calculator. Opioid conversion selection is critically limited. For example, meperidine/pethedine/demerol is not a selectable option, diamorphine/diacetylmorphine? is not avail either. Pentazacine? Nope. Sufentanyl? Buprenorphine? Nope. Levorphanol? nope..Etcetera... Dose selection is equally useless. For example cant select codeine 8mg, 50mg or 100 etc.. Cant actually input the doses being used. Dose input is forced into the basic constraints. No allowance for prn, or q1h, q2h, q4h etc... No allowance to add breakthrough doses. No indication if dose conversions are to or from oral or iv, sl or transdermal. Must assume it is oral to oral conversion... But since when should a medical professional be advised to assume anything. Absolutely no accommodation of pharmacokinetic needs or drug formulation conversion. for example, cannot convert morphine iv to morphine po. Brand name use of sponsored product, drug name use for others. Looks unprofessional. Just. Avoid it. It was clearly designed by amateurs or marketing people, and definitely not pharmaceutical scientists. The people responsible should be embaressed.
