TapFly:
Point a direction on anywhere on your screen where you want your drone to fly !

Point of Interest :
Tap on the screen to set your point of interest position and set its radius and speed !

Follow Me :
Activate the follow-me mode to make your drone follow your GPS position. You can also choose to control the drone heading with the RC or to head the drone to your position.

Panorama mission :

Finally a professional app

I was reluctant to use because I hadn't seen any reviews. But, researching I found they do Military and industrial applications. I am flying in the Adirondack mountains and need complete reliability and flexibility. Drone volt has been extremely reliable. I highly recommend it.

Potential... Someday

I am using this with a Phantom 3 Professional and iPad Pro 128. The thing that caught my eye with this application was the possible potential of planning flights out ahead of time, etc. I purchased the application and was quickly underwhelmed: My first experience for $30 was positive because the aircraft was automatically recognized by the software. After that is when things went downhill because of application crash after application crash. I was able to try out live this morning outside - Setting up the waypoints went okay - I flew it about a mile and back, but I really don't have a lot of positive to say about it after that. Here are some of the issues I have with this application: - Quits unexpectedly... I mean... CONSTANTLY! - No flight logs (that I can find) - The video record button - It is difficult to tell when it is recording and when it is not - There seems to be no timer showing that it is running. - Panoramas: I LOVE this idea. The first 10 times I tried it I received an error 1003 that the execution has timed out. Eventually it worked. The panorama seemed to point the aircraft accordingly when trying to do 180 and 360 modes. It took the pictures but could not put them together into a panoramic because the application crashed each time during the process. Very frustrating. I was able to take the images into Photoshop CS6 and stitch them together but it is not quite what I was looking for. - Even though I Have set the application to display imperial, I still get metric everywhere. - Sometimes the Sat and Hybrid map do not show up... Just a grey screen with the circle and slash, even though I am connected online. Cannot take pictures while recording videos. There are other things as well, but these are the top annoyances... Especially the app crashing. I think I am going to write up a request to Apple for a refund. For $30 these things should not happen.

Not there yet …...

Can only give this App 2* at the moment. It is very buggy and have had no replies from the Devs. There is no Tutorials, and I can’t seem to be able to make any missions while NOT connected to the craft. The UI is very nice and his is why I have given it 2**
