Updated and still claims update available P4P

App is terrible now! Had a huge client and the app wouldn't do its job. Kept saying there's an update required. Deleted it completely and reloaded, same message! Going to cancel my subscription.

Broken for inspire pro on current version

Used to be my go to app. Worked 99 pct of the time. Last version had issue with not allowing manual control when switching to P mode when I needed to land manually. This current version has too many issues to continue using effectively. -appears to not want to work with DJI go app open -flys mission but does not take photos -on continue mission takes off 6ft then says congratulations done and drops telemetry. -stops and hovers in middle of mission. -when It fails mission it will tilt camera to nadir after I tilt up to avoid ground objects while landing. But at least it allows me manual control over returning to home now. Running all updated firmware as of 2017.06.13 across inspire x5, control and on iPad Pro.

Current version not working

Will not load new or old missions and at times will not open at all. Update: completely remove and reinstall of the app fixed the issue. Back flying again!

No camera angle control during mission planning. Nadir only?

App works well and at least the drone heading follows the flight path, unlike the useless djiGSpro app which allows camera angle setting, but flies with the same heading the entire Mission, so 1/2 the mission the drone flies backward. DD would be virtually perfect by simply allowing the user to dictate the camera angle. Also, DD allows you to dictate max speed during a mission, which is important when considering your shutter speed. But the major flaw here is that the drone ignores this value when it heads to WP 1. Instead of adhearing to the mission assigned speed, it takes off at full speed ( dangerously fast) when heading to WP 1. Had 2 great drones fly themselves apart while raging toward first WP. Super unsafe. So in summary... Decent app but has at least 3 fundamental flaws: -no control over camera angle making it useless for detailed large area 3D maps with structures (no oblique option ) - drone flies top speed to WP 1 rather than at the speed dictated in the mission plan. Very dangerous - app only displays battery percentage, no voltage info, which is far more reliable data. Really hope DD will add these features. We will certainly resume its use if these simple mods are made. All of this aside, DD has shown very good customer service... Thanks for reading

Too glitchy and unreliable

When it works perfect, I love it. But half the time it freezes and doesn't enter the mission but still takes off and wastes my battery without capturing my data. It has also told me my preflight check was good to go but I had an SD format issue so again it was a waste. I am using fully charged, fully compatible equipment, and updated software and firmware, yet this app still manages to freeze/glitch half the time I start missions. Also, I can delete missions 10 times and they never go away. I can delete them on desktop and they stay on the app. Just a messy app which is too bad because I really thought my business would be using them when I first tried them out but id have to see big time improvements to reconsider subscribing.

New update messed everything up

After the new update to fix the fpv screen issue, now doesn't even have the fpv screen and it also won't take any pictures. I just used this app yesterday with no issues now nothing works except for the flight.
