The “Erudite” board game, a “Scrabble” analogue, that can be played using English and Russian alphabets.
Bringing the game to a mobile platform has added new functionality. “Scrabble” is still played using the classic rules, according to which players compete in making words out of given letters and score points for each letter in a completed word. However the mobile version, brought up by “e-legion”, enables players to select the difficulty level and add new words to each of the two preinstalled dictionaries,- English and Russian. The beloved iPhone or a live person could be chosen as a competitor for the game.
Replacing a bulky board with a mobile device doesn’t make the playtime less convenient. The simple interface and usable controls require a player just to drag and drop letters.

Переместившись в мобильное устройство, «Эрудит» обзавелся новыми функциями. Классические правила, по которым игроки состязаются в составлении слов из имеющихся на руках букв, дополнены возможностью пополнять словари. При этом игра по выбору может вестись как с использованием русского, так и английского алфавита за счет наличия предустановленных словарей. Объем русского сегодня составляет 15000 слов, а английского – 5000. В новой игре от e-legion также реализована возможность выбирать уровень сложности. А в качестве соперника может выступить как любимый iPhone, так и человек.
Замена громоздкой доски электронным устройством не делает игру менее удобной,- простой и функциональный интерфейс и легкое управление требуют от игрока просто понянуть букву на поле и бросить на нужное место.
