Wilshire Contamination Control (WCC), originally operated as a division of Wilshire Foam, was started in the early 1970's to serve Aerospace and Medical Device customers. In 1992 the WCC division was acquired and combined with a wound care, medical and glove business under Wilshire Technologies. In 2000 Foamex Asia Co. Ltd. acquired the WCC division and integrated it into its growing foam pouring and fabrication business in Thailand. Since then the WCC division has enjoyed rapid growth and is now the world's largest manufacturer of clean room foam swabs, foam wipers and chamber cleaning products. The WCC division has a history of innovation and close working relationships with customers. Backed by the resources of Foamtec all of the company's products are now manufactured in-house at ISO certified facilities.
