Doesn't work!

Down loaded this app to my iPad several occasions but can not get a connection. Have deleted and reloaded this app several times. It always shows download successful but every time I open this app it gives me an error message; no connection. Nice idea, but so far it just doesn't work!

Nice, but....

I haven't tried to download an issue of their magazine, so I won't comment on that. I use the app by tapping on the logo in the top left in order to access their wealth of information; and they do have a lot of great information. The major problem, and it is excessively annoying, is that there is normally no way to go back to a previous page. So, once you tap on a link and get to the new page, there's no way to go back other than to start all over again. For instance, I went into the Gem Encyclopedia, chose a gem, chose further information about that gem, then chose an article about the gem. When I was finished reading, I found there was no way to go right back to the other articles--I had to begin all over again at the Gem Encyclopedia. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Instructions for app

Instead of trying to download the magazines click on the Gems & Gemology logo then a whole world of information opens up. You can look up any gem and read information, lore and view images. Also find jewelers, look up diamond grading reports and more. Magazines go back to the 1930s.

Have patience

It does take awhile to download but well worth it to the gemologist. One review called it a game, these magazines are written for professionals. However anyone interested in jewelry will find many articles valuable.

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.
Launch Services
