HERE WeGo is a free navigation app that guides local and global travelers on journeys both familiar and foreign. The app now has a fresh, new design and clearer, easier to use navigation.

Enjoy a more carefree journey and reach your destination effortlessly, however you need to get there. Get there on foot with easy-to-follow walk guidance. Take public transport in more than 1,900 cities around the world. Or use turn-by-turn voice guidance with accurate driving directions and go by car. You can even find parking at your destination and get guided directly to it.

Visit the same places often? Save them in a collection to stay organized and find them easier. Or use shortcuts to get directions to them in one click.

Need to make an extra stop or want to go a specific way? Simply add waypoints to your routes and HERE WeGo guides you there.

Want to save your mobile data and stay on course even without an internet connection when travelling? Download a map of a region, country or continent and complete your journey while staying totally offline.

“Here would like to send you notifications”

“Here would like to send you notifications” popup takes over phone. I don’t have notifications turned on, intentionally. It also can’t download maps. “Allow Here to also use your location...” - I have this turned off.

Schlechte Navigation....

Sind hier alle mit 5 Sternen gekaufte Bewertungen? Und auf Kritik wird nicht reagiert. Schade!!! Warum schlecht?: 1. Es werden noch immer keine alternativen Routen angeboten bei der Routenerstellung. Wie es geht, zeigt Google bzw. Karten von Apple. 2. Die Hinweise zu Verzögerungen auf der Route, insbesondere die gelben Kennzeichnungen stimmen überhaupt nicht seitdem die App überarbeitet worden ist. Wo auf der Karte ein gelber Streckenabschnitt angezeigt wurde, ist immer alles leer. Zum Teil stimmen die roten Verzögerungen auch nicht immer. Das darf nicht sein und führt dazu, dass man sich mühevoll eine andere Route aussuchen muss, wo es nicht nötig ist. 3. Gottseidank wurde der Tag/Nachtmodus jetzt eingeführt. Gerade bei einer Einfahrt in einen Tunnel hat es doch schon geblendet. Insgesamt ist die neue Version schlechter geworden. Warum man was erneuern musste, was vorher einwandfrei lief, (bis auf die Routenalternativen) bleibt mir ein Rätsel.

Was ist mit der neusten Version los...?

Ich habe die App Jahre lang verwendet - und bin eigentlich totaler Fan davon. Aber mit der neusten Version leider funktional momentan ein deutlicher Rückschritt. Mit der neuen Kartenoptik muss man sich erst anfreunden. Aber auch die Möglichkeit, Routen für Radfahrer zu berechnen, fehlt nun vollständig. Ich hoffe, dieses Feature kommt bald in einem neuen Release. Zudem ruckelt die App beim navigieren deutlich - das bei einem iPhone 12! Das kann und darf nicht sein.

One of the most underrated maps and navigation apps… very well designed and works very smoothly on old iOS devices too… the best feature is when you zoom you see all the numbers.

Core Foundation Framework

Core Graphics

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
Foundation Framework
The Foundation framework provides a base layer of functionality for apps and frameworks, including data storage and persistence, text processing, date and time calculations, sorting and filtering, and networking. The classes, protocols, and data types defined by Foundation are used throughout the macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS SDKs.

Quartz Core Framework
