The App will only be useful to you once your organization has been setup with compatible readers and your security administrator can issue Mobile IDs.
To improve the door opening experience, we detect readers when the app is not open. Location Services is used exclusively for this purpose. Continued use of location services in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Needs polish
This app needs polish as it doesn't work reliably. Sometimes it works in the background, sometimes it only works in the foreground, even after the app was properly launched and backgrounded. The most annoying part of it all is the fact that it calls up Apple Wallet when being used when it doesn't need to do so. Why not just integrate directly into Apple Wallet like the Walgreen's rewards program?

Great idea, terrible execution
I love the convenience of not having to carry a separate fob. But this app has many problems.
- battery hog, usually at the top of the usage list
- rarely works when not in foreground
- even in the foreground still fails about 10% of the time
- door readers make Apple Pay show up on screen

Great to be able to tap into my office but seems to only work when the app is open since the 8th July release.

Core Foundation Framework

Core Graphics

Core Location Framework
The Core Location framework lets you determine the current location or heading associated with a device. The framework uses the available hardware to determine the user’s position and heading. You use the classes and protocols in this framework to configure and schedule the delivery of location and heading events. You can also use it to define geographic regions and monitor when the user crosses the boundaries of those regions. In iOS, you can also define a region around a Bluetooth beacon.
