Don’t Waste your Time

If I could give this app 0 stars I would but sadly can’t. All I have to say about this app is that you’ll be swindled out of your money every time you want to withdrawal you have to contact support on a daily basis and for no apparent reason you’ll be locked out of your account or even worse they will deactivate your account. If you a frequent shopper or a person that submit receipts on a daily or weekly frequency they come to the terms that your flagged and deactivate for no reason, given that they can’t even provide you a valid reason on how or when you violated the terms or guidelines when they can’t even provide the response and an exact answer despite the same automated responses. The can be within the guidelines and they still deny you access to your funds and account and they just keep your money

Gone downhill in recent months

This app was great when I first started using it a couple of years ago. In recent months, I have had to submit request after request to get the proper credits or any credit at all on my purchases. I would currently give it a zero star rating if I could. Don’t bother as you will spend more time submitting requests to get the proper credit than any 900 people should if they wrote their app well. I don’t know what changed over the last couple of years, but I change it and go back to doing it correctly, or just stop doing it at all.

Not what I Thought

Beware! I really liked Ibotta at first but just logged in to check my account after some inactivity and they withdraw almost $40 for inactivity which was literally everything I had earned. If I had known they would do that I would have withdrawn that ages ago.

3.99 Maintenance Fee

Uploading receipts is a hassle for Publix. Then if you let the application sit, you will be charged a 3.99 Maintenance fee, maintenance of what? Rip off

Ehhh

I have used this app and saved tons of money over the years. However, something has changed recently in the way you get your rewards. It used to be that you could purchase the gift card and it would be emailed to you almost immediately. The last two times that I’ve purchased a gift card, I’ve not received it. I’ve reached out to customer service and get the same generic response that they’ve removed any blocks on my account and I need to resend it including instructions on how to do so. The instructions however no longer match the fields on the app. After going back and forth, usually the third or fourth time someone will actually resend the gift card. Ibotta is great but I think I’ve used it for the last time. It’s not worth the headache.
