Image Stream Medical, the fastest-growing company in the Operating Room Integration market, was founded in May 1999 to develop better technology for surgical image management. Image Stream Medical introduced the first DVD burning medical video recorder to the surgical marketplace in 2002. Over the last 15 years, we have developed the most advanced network based image management and virtual collaboration solutions to share medical video throughout the hospital enterprise.
Image Stream Medical has successfully integrated hundreds of operating and procedure rooms that are used across all surgical specialties.
With the advances in the healthcare industry, the digital OR has greatly evolved from simple routing of surgical video to a comprehensive networked image management fully integrated with surgical devices, imaging, electronic health records, and into the hospital network. To meet this challenge, we launched our state-of-art image management platform, EasySuite». EasySuite intra-operability offers full integration with real-time consultation with physicians outside of the operating room and live video streaming and video conferencing capabilities.
