Indesign Media Asia Pacific
Indesign Media Asia Pacific is the first and only media company dedicated to architecture and design in the Asia Pacific region. Founded by Raj Nandan in Sydney in 1999, we launched with Indesign magazine, envisioned as an architectural publication that would be at once world class and local. The company has since grown to become a pillar of the regionÍs design industry, from our national emerging design competition Launch Pad to our international commercial design fair Indesign: The Event. Today, Indesign magazine circulates in over 40 countries. CEO Raj Nandan sits on the Strategic Advisory Board of the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers, the Advisory Board of Emergency Architects Australia, the Jury Panel of the red dot design award in both Europe and Asia, and is an Ambassador for Unlimited: Designing for the Asia Pacific. Our stable of respected and popular architecture and design titles includes Indesign (2009 Folio Mag Award, Best Redesign), Habitus, Design Quarterly (DQ) (2011 Folio Mag Award, Best Overall Design, Best Redesign), Cubes, Lookbox Living and The Collection. Our online platforms include Indesignlive.com, Habitusliving.com, Careersindesign.com.au, Indesignlive.sg, Indesignlive.hk, Lookboxliving.com.sg and TheCollectionOnline.com.au. Our digital newsstand is Binder (2013 Australian Mobile Award), available from the App store. Our experiential platforms include Indesign: The Event, formerly named Saturday in Design, held biannually in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore and Hong Kong since 2003. We founded Launch Pad, national emerging design competition and mentorship program, held annually since 2004. Launch Pad Asia premieres in 2014. We have partnered with every major architecture and design industry body and product supplier to curate unique content, and in our fifteenth year continue to represent, serve and celebrate the strong architecture and design network between Australia, Asia, and the Asia Pacific.
