Description:
Make colorful mosaics out of sound!
Ever wonder what song would "look" like? Or your voice would look like when transformed into a colorful mosaic? This app will transform any sound that can be captured by your devices microphone into vibrant pieces of art! Just sing, talk, or play some music into the microphone and watch as the sound ignites a crystallization of color!
Getting Started:
- Drag and princh to pan and zoom into the canvas
- Hold down the Volume Down button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time until the screen flashes to take a screenshot (on most Android Devices
- Press (i) and tap around to see what things do
- If you're feeling adventurous, try playing around with the settings to see what you can do!
How does it work?:
the app takes the sound from the microphone and analyzes its pitch and volume to come up with a color, then it places a fragment color where it would look the most aesthetically pleasing to result in a watercolor or flower like image, hence the name Music Paint.
There will be many more features and updates coming including:
- A more helpful help menu
- Support for playing music through the app
- Any suggestions you can offer
