Leap Year was founded in 1997 and is a leading publisher of dated goods, stationery products, and licensee partners with Hasbro in art materials, educational, early learning and toy categories under the Playskool and Play-Doh brands.
Our corporate offices are headquartered in North Andover, MA. We are both a domestic and a direct import vendor to major retailers in North America.
Leap Year got its start selling only wall calendars. Since our first press run, we have sold more than 250 million calendars, planners and other dated goods. Our business has expanded dramatically in recent years, and now includes an even wider assortment of calendar products, seasonal and social stationery, continual development in our Playskool offering, perennial favorite Play-Doh licensed products, plus our new children's book line, Leap Year Press.
All our products are conceived, created and designed by our in-house art and design team, and supported by a staff that include sales, marketing, product development, production, operations, accounting and administrative departments.
