Lou Malnati was one of the original fathers of Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza. Lou took his family recipe and started his own chain of pizzerias beginning with Lincolnwood, IL in 1971. Currently they have 48 locations, 16 dine-in and 32 carry out, all of which are still family owned and operated.
The Malnati Organization, Inc has since expanded to include a catering department that serves the greater Chicagoland area and an eCommerce website called Lou MalnatiÍs Tastes of Chicago (www.tastesofchicago.com) which partnered with Chicago staples such as PortilloÍs, GarrettÍs Popcorn, Wildfire Steaks and CarsonÍs Ribs to make Chicago's favorite foods available nationwide.
