Love Lutron

I have been using the app for about 4 years and absolutely love it! I have been adding stuff over the years and currently have 49 devices connected. I have Serena shades, dimmers, fan controls and the new extender allowed me to put more devices in other areas. The interface is super stable and the app has been great. I have it all integrated with the Google/Nest ecosystem and it has been flawless. Thanks Lutron!

Crashing on launch

Since its last update, it crashes instantly when you lauch it (using an iphone 12 pro).

Ads on a smart light app.. really? Also widget broke

Couldn’t be more upset. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Awful support, app is useless now and literally is a billboard for ads. Couldn’t be more upset with my decision. Stick to the competition guys, this ain’t the brand for you

Works

Amazing when a home config / automation app ACTUALLY (!) works as intended without a hitch. App is rock solid and intuitive. This somewhat makes up for having to spend £300 on a Connect Bridge (which looks like it cost £5 to make) just to hook HomeworksQS into HomeKit. But it works, so well done Lutron!

One small issue I was able to resolve

I’ve been using the app and products for years, but usually accessing my lights using the iOS Home app. Recently purchased a new switch but the Lutron app wouldn’t connect to the bridge to allow me to add the switch. Tried all the troubleshooting steps on the website with no luck. Finally deleted the app, reinstalled it, and now it works perfectly again.
